# Welcome to The GPS Starter Kit

This manual was written collaboratively with the input of close to 100 Psychedelic Society leaders and other thought-leaders in the ecosystem. \
\
After many years and multiple iterations, we are proud to present this resource to our community.\
\
It is an amalgamation of knowledge, experiences and resources from leaders of Societies, many of whom were the first to embark on building a psychedelic society\
\
Please note that this is an ever evolving and breathing document that is subject, and invited to, change over time.

For **individuals who are new to psychedelic organizing**, this space will be helpful guiding you through the many considerations to explore.

For **long-time team community holders**, this space will act as a repository of information you can return to as your role, and the role of your society evolves and requires a different set of knowledge resourcing.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://global-psychedelic-society.gitbook.io/handbook/welcome-to-the-gps-starter-kit.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
